John W. Sayward was Partner at Nippon Heart Hospital, LLC from September 2005 to January 2007 which was formed to build and manage cardiovascular care hospitals in Japan. KENNETH E. OLSON
Director
Kenneth E. Olson has served as a member of our Board of Directors since March 1996. From June 1984 to June 1998, he served as Chairman, and from December 1990 to February 1996 and from March 1997 to June 1998, he served as Chief Executive Officer, at Proxima Corporation, a supplier of digital imaging systems.

From 1971 to 1987, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Topaz, a designer and manufacturer of computer peripherals. Mr. Olson currently serves on the board of directors for WD-40 Company, a specialty chemicals company, and served as a director of Avanir Pharmaceuticals from 1988 to September of 2006. He received his M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

Since 1999, Lloyd Malchow has served as President and CEO of SenoRx (Nasdaq: SENO), which develops minimally invasive devices for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. From 1993 to 1999, he’s held various positions, including COO & President and CEO at Penederm. Prior to 1998, he held executive positions at American Hospital Supply and Allergan, where he held positions including:

He currently serves on the Board of Directors Rox Medical, which develops products for the treatment of respiratory disease. He received a bachelor's degree from Carroll College, a master's degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
